My new year
The most important holiday in China is the Spring Festival. During the festival period, everyone goes back to the hometown to stay with their family. But I think (thought) the Spring Festival of 2009 was really special. On (the) New Year's Eve, I had the (a) big dinner with my family. We watched TV and light (lighted) the crackers at 12 o'clock. In other days,（on the other day）I made dumplings, visited my relatives from door to door (one by one),baked the Rice cake and so on. I was very happy because I got many red packets（lucky money） from my relatives and my parents' friends. However, we were in the warm house. On Lantern's Festival, the streets were crowded, many colored lanterns are (were) hung at the gate. At the same time, all the things include (including) the big bright moon became the best touch of the dark blue sky. I lost myself in the beautiful scenery of the fireworks. Time never feels tired, he keeps running.(excellent sentence!) I never forget the moment that the earthquake destroyed our family and the people who lost their relatives .Now, Do (Are) they happy? Do(Are) they feel lonely? Do(Are) they wear warm clothes to have meals? I don't know. My mother smiled but did not answer. I thought and thought .But I failed. On New Year's day , my family and I got on a plane .After a five-hour-flying, we arrived at the Sanya. It's a beautiful city full of all kinds of flowers. And the climate there is mild. No wonder it's loved by so many people .Clear rivers with golden fish in it , ancient--designed houses and streets, friendly local people in colorful clothes and excited foreigners talking and laughing loudly...There were so many interesting things! On (In) the afternoon , my parents and I went to the beach .The sand is fair and tiny ,the sky is blue and clean , some birds were(are) flying in it .There are also several clouds floating in the sky. What a(去掉) beautiful scenery! We lied on the beach in the sun. The sunshine was (is) warm and bright. It relaxed everyone. It also made people forget all unhappy things .Lying on the beach , and listening to the sea water hits (hit) the stone. A wind blows the people who lied on the beach. The people and the scenery bulid（build） a good picture .Suddenly, my father pulled me into the sea .As soon as I got into the water ,I drinked（drank） some sea water .It is salty and sour. But(去掉) at last ,I could swim ! Any way , it's a wonderful place. I couldn't help loving it and we took many photos there. ?Well, if you ask me, what did I do during this new year, I can’t tell you something interesting. Because for such a long time during this new year, I neither went for a trip nor had dinner outside at eve on the New year’s Day.
But I have found a problem about this Chinese traditional festival, that is the lucky money. It is such a pleasure for children to get lucky money, and it even can be the best thing for children during the new year. But in (on)the other hand, it can also be a problem for parents. For example, a boy’s parents give a girl lucky money, and it may means that the girl’s parents must give back the boy lucky money (give lucky money back to the boy)as much as the girl has received or even more to show respect. So, this may make some parents worried about all day that whether their children have received lucky money from someone and they must give back the money.
Of course, lucky money is a custom lasts for thousands of years in China, and also it’s very popular now during the new year. But in my opinion, lucky money can be a trouble of a family,(and) can make a lot of people worried about it. Because of these, I want (to) say that everything may has (have) its defects, and nothing can be perfect. The above are what I found during my new year, and I also feel that through (though)I didn’t go out for holiday, I’m still very satisfied with my new year, my winter holiday. How happy I am!

?New Year is interesting. On the New Year's eve of 2008, I played computer and I also watched TV which is the most popular proggome (program)——Spring Festival Gala with my family.We were eating and drinking, we were playing games and watching tv. Spring Festival is a traditional day for the Chinese people to get together besides The Mid-Autumn Day.For this reason many people go back home wherever they are. However (No matter how) far they are and however busy they are, they try to go home. I am one of those who hate it because after one festival, I become one year older. Another reason is that there are many more ceremonies before or after the festival. However, this spring festive is a bit special for me. I had a wonderful time. We stay (stayed) at home and have (had) a rich dinner in a restaurant. Though it was very much expensive and sometimes (we) waste (wasted) many (much) food, We could spare (save) much effort for preparing the dinner which we couldn't have eaten and also we could have a lot of time to enjoy ourselves. You see, nowadays, the living standard has been greatly improved, eating is not so much a problem as before,so we have to find other kind (kinds) of ways to enjoy ourselves. Traveling is a good way of spending the traditional festivals. But (However),because (since) I have (had to) study. So,I didn't travel. I remembered last year, we went to Xishuangbanna, Dali, the Stone Forest...my family, especial I are all excited,(and) learning (learned) a lot about the Minorities' tradition.I wish one day I could go abroad to spend the festival if we could make enough money! ?One year after another, time is running faster and faster. The new year of Chinese lunar year came again. We are used to celebrating the New Year in different ways. ?On the last day of 2008, all of family member(members) went to my grandma’s home. It was exciting for me to celebrate the New Year. So I got up early and put up new clothes. When I met my relative, we said, happy New Year with each other. After lunch, we made dumplings and chat(chatted) with each other. Grandma put a coin in the one of the dumpling(dumplings). “It is said that if you eat the dumpling which has coin, this coin will bring luck for you in the next year.” she said with smile. After dinner, all of family member(members) sat in front of TV set to watch the Spring Festival Gala, we chatted with laugh. Grandma was boiling dumplings at twenty to twelve. Soon after, she took dishes on the table. We sat around the table and ate them happily. We helped ourselves. Luckily, when the new year just began(came), I ate the dumpling which has(had) coin. As my grandma said, I will(would) get good luck in the next year and I was happy about that. We said, happy new year with each other again. I sent short message (messages) to my friends and teacher My cousin and I got luck money from our elders.
